Lidia’s Bags
Thoughtful Design, Rescued Materials
Lidia’s Bags are designed with intention — clean lines, comfortable forms, and materials chosen for both beauty and durability. Each piece is made to move easily between work and everyday life, feeling professional in the office and relaxed outside of it.
At the heart of the work is a respect for materials. I use rescued and deadstock fabrics — vintage textiles, upholstery remnants, discontinued fashion runs, and specialty fabrics that would otherwise be discarded. These materials bring character and history, while allowing each bag to remain one of a kind.
The designs are deliberate and balanced. Structure matters. Comfort matters. A bag should feel good on the body, hold what you need, and quietly support your day rather than compete for attention.
Everyday Bags & Special Occasions
Alongside everyday bags, I also create small collections for special occasions. Party bags and handbag-and-shawl sets are made from high-grade deadstock and even bridal fabrics — beautiful materials rescued from the fashion industry’s excess.
The idea is simple: a neutral dress, thoughtful jewelry, and a distinctive bag or shawl can solve the problem of dressing for an event without unnecessary expense or waste.
Custom & Sentimental Pieces
Some clients come to me with fabrics of their own — pieces of clothing, heirloom textiles, or scraps that carry personal meaning. I’m happy to work with those materials and turn them into something usable and lasting.
These custom pieces are made with the same care and restraint as the rest of the collection. If you’re interested, I can guide you to a custom bag listing.
Lidia’s Bags are not trend-driven. They are made to be used, kept, and returned to.
